How do you manage your disorder with work? I am thinking of taking on a new job utilizing my Bachelor's degree. I was just diagnosed a few weeks ago and I know that it is difficult for us bipolars to make transitions/changes in our lives. I have been working the night shift at a pharmaceutical company for a year - I would be switching to a day job (8-5pm) as a supervisor at a behavioral health facility. Do you think this is a good idea right now? My gf is concerned that my moods will be upset by the change (time wise as well as responsibility on the job). I am medicated but I still have periodic bursts of raciness. And, have any of you managed two jobs simulataneously (one day and one night?)

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
