All I want is for someone to evaluate me and tell me that I am indeed bipolar, that trying to treat me for depression is not enough, and not working. Yesterday morning I called the hospital I was in on a Section 12 in Dec. 06. The patched me through to the Crisis Assessment Team. Voicemail. Left my name and number, told them it was urgent. That was 34 hours ago. This morning I tried again. Voicemail. Talked to someone in patient intake, explained my call had not been returned, she patches me through to the head of the Crisis Assessment Team Department. Voicemail. That was 15 hours ago. Yes, I have a plan, but I won't, because I live with my bipolar teenage daughter and my estranged husband. I want to cut as well, but won't, because my daughter hasn't cut since her last hospitalization, and I'm afraid she'll find out if I do. I'm afraid to go to the emergency room, because I'm on Medicaid, and they'll most likely stick me in a state hospital. Finally found a pdoc, my appointment is the end of June. Best I could find. What the heck am I supposed to do?

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
