I was diagnosed about a month ago.I know about the mood swings and the ultra highs and lows and I understand the mania I sometime have, but I just don,t get it.I thought this was just life and it was the things are.I guess that I have a lot to learn.

Isn't that so awesome how we just think... oh well thats life we have our ups and downs then someone rains on our parade and says your bipolar take these drugs. Oh gosh.

I would say you have a lot to learn. Bipolar ups and downs are nothing like "life's" ups and downs in any way, shape, form, or fashion. You will undertand the longer you live with it. The higher you go - the lower you go til pretty soon you'll be screaming you hate this damn disorder or you love it one....depending on if you're manic or depressed at the time. I wish you all the luck in the world. You have a long road ahead of you and all of us are here to help.
