On Monday I was in an up mood so I rang round a few friends and invited them over for coffee and cake on Thursday afternoon.
Tuesday I went into a flat spin, convinced I couldn't do it. I was panicking, shaking and wanted to cancel. This from someone who has organised functions for 150 people at a time!
Anyway I took one day at a time, bought some nice cakes, cleaned the house as much as I could and waited for the bell to ring at 2.00pm.
5 of my friends came and we had a lovely 2 hours chatting in Swiss german and English. The Swiss always bring gifts so I got flowers, brownies, a table centre and a candle.
I felt really elated after they had gone and although I know tomorrow I will probably sleep all day, I feel I have taken a huge step forward.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
