I try to "get it" about my husband but I'm not sure I really understand. He hears things and so does my daughter. He has paranoid schizophrenia and bipolar. I've been there when he goes through the voices and it kills me inside to watch him go through it. The meds he's on have helped but still sometimes he'll have an "episode". He says it's an awful experience and he wouldn't wish it on his worse enemy.
I'll never totally understand what it's like for him but I can only imagine it's sheer hell.
And I realize no one who doesn't have bipolar will totally understand me but it doesn't mean they don't care or that they don't want to understand.
I'm thinking about this a lot because of a post by Pluck and one by Laurabeth.
There's no question; just some thoughts.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
