Okay guys and gals, I am sure that when i see my shrink he is going to want to start a med regimen. I have done some research and from what I have found, Abilify looks to be a great medicine. I have a son w/ Autism and they placed him on this med. When he began to take it he became the sweetest, happy go lucky little guy. It really made a difference for him. I am curious as to how it helps with the Bipolar. Any feedback would be so very much appreciated!
Thank you!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
On the other hand, everyone responds differently with meds....

been on zoloft and pdoc put me on abilify (15 mg). I had some side effects, like trouble sleeping, but she gave me serequel and I was able to sleep. Ambien worked better; less side effects than serequel. Abilify helped my depression greatly and reigned in my mania. I like abilify but I've been told I have bp2, though they weren't sure. I just know I've started painting and drawing again because of abilify.
Good luck with your appointment!
