Daily Strength may in fact be the most appropriate forum to meet potential partners. Why? Because there is commonality, solidarity, and a real understanding of shared strife. How many interested potential partners have gone the way of Jimmy Hoffa once you tell them about your disorder? But those who know what it's like to be bipolar are not so quick to bounce as they know the pain of judgment all too well. I have my maxed amount of epidural shots of my cervical DDD....(and no one cares about my lumbar DDD)..... I've done physical therapy, muscle relaxers, Amitriptyline, Nortryptiline, desipramine.....narcotics... So I decided to go to a spine specialist and they have me on Gabapentin. Its been two weeks and it did nothing for my lumbar ever... but it did seem to help my cervical and arm/hand pain...
