Yesterday I got a CD from my therapist for breathing tecniques to help reduce stress. Has anyone ever used this method? It has nature sounds in the background and a musical scale in the forground that is set like a music scale. It starts at a low scale and works it way up and then down. You're supposed to follow the scale up for breathing in and down for breathing out. I tried it yesterday, but I have the attention span of 0! You're supposed to concentrate on the scale, but I keep drifting off to other thoughts and I just kept laughing at myself because I could not do it. You're supposed to sit still and I could not do it!
