I love the pic!
The fact is, couples and singles have very different perspectives. There are areas that overlap but there are also areas that don't.
Of course, pretty much every social situation faces similar challenges. Especially mixed conditions like racial, religious, drinker/non-drinker, smoker/non-smoker, disabilities etc. When there are differences that create obvious boundaries between people a difference in the way we act or treat people occurs.
Nah.
If would be like your best friends boyfriend coming by and visiting you a lot?
Plus, how many single friends can understand being married for 10, 20, or 30 years?
As far as single people as friends, well it depends on the people, in all situations, I think. It's not always about bars or kids(I don't have kids...), and it's not all about "when are YOU gonna get married?" LOL, it's about people, and relating, and there are so many topics to relate on in life. Of course, I still get looks when I say my cats are our children, cuz it means guess what we're not having kids anytime soon! At least I'm not carrying the 50 extra pounds that Depakote I used to take put on me....cuz that was when I was newly married and everyone kept saying "Ooooh, when are you DUE?" BASTIDS!
Oops, didn't mean to change the subject....:D
It's all about who gets on best with who....SHORT version.
Time for bed!:D
