Ok so maybe the wrong holiday. But think I can still be a grinch when it comes to this time of year. I don't celebrate any holiday and never go out to buy candy for the kids that come knocking door to door. The reason I think I do this is because as a kid I never experianced the joys of these holidays myself. I am dreading this evening because I have to sit in complete darkness to avoid the small little ghosts and goblins running around the town. This has been steady for the past 4 yrs now. I am afraid to go grocery shopping or showing my face in town. I have to wait for my daughter to come do all these things for me. She will not be visiting me again till the weekend. I am trying to get out of my shell but going into public places right now is not something I am ready for. If I were to open the door to the kids tonight. What could I offer them? Since I have no candy here? Any ideas of common household items that wouldn't make you look like the strange neighbor or the bad house to go to? I can see if I have some items laying around.
