I was just talking to one of the members about the famous bipolars.....do they suffer like we do?
Are the Robin Williams or Francis Ford Coppolla are they on anti phycotics..or antidepressants?
How can they be so energized and creative if they are on some of the meds we take .
We all know how it feels on some of these meds..ZOMBIE...tired all the time.
How do you suppose they manage their manic/depressive episodes?
Is it,that they are so RICH and FAMOUS...they can get away with bizzare behavior?
Of course, then there are the stories of Margot Kidder ,waking up nude on someones lawn(that's more my style of BP).
What do you think?

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
2. You only see them "occaisonaly" not every day. They have time to get used to the meds or the mood swings
3. They're rich & famous which means they have people cater to their every need. So they don't have to worry or deal w/the stuff we deal with.
I re-watched "JAWS"...because I saw an interview with Richard Dryfes....while filming that movie,he had just started on Lithium. It gave his performance a whole new depth and meaning to me.
Annie Lennox is BP, i believe. Like so many others, she creates from those moods. Don't know if she's on meds, tho....
Well, it seems that celebrities CAN get away with a lot of behavior that wouldn't be otherwise tolerated.
But I imagine another component would be that we just don't get to SEE them when they are 'down'!!
Can you imagine someone taking pix of us,while we were screaming manic! And then being on the cover of some rag newspaper!!EEEK
But wait... come the growls... a lady Russell Crowe, front page tabloid material.
