My kids have been visiting their grandparents in Minnesota since June 7. During that time, my daughter has been running up the cell phone bill with text messaging. Grandma and Grandpa took her phone away from her when I got May's bill and found it $150 over due to texting on her phone. Then, I got June's and it was $275 over due to excessive texting prior to getting her phone removed. So, when she gets back, she's getting a contract that she has to complete prior to getting her phone back. If that's not enough incentive, I'm putting in a clause that bars her from taking driver's education until she makes the commitment. Do you think I'm being too harsh?
