Bipolar Disorder Support Group

what does it mean to you, in terms of DS?
i read many posts of upset poeple, not getting the "support" they need.
i frankly, just don't understand.
to me there are different realms of support... varieing from friendships to crisis centers.
DS, i feel is in the friendship realm, for me anyway.
Are we to be a crisis center for those in need as well? I for one, am not qualified for that job? Do you feel that is our responsibility? Do you expect your fellow DS mates to come through for you in that way?

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
We're friends here... and we try to help them, any way we can. We never give up hope that we can help them get out of the bowels of hell. We try...bottom line!
Yes we are a crisis center for those in our need and that does not bother me.
As a student nurse i feel it is my duty to listen to those around me and try my best to help them.
I expect no more from others on DS than I can give. Being human and BP, those expectations vary daily. I take in the good, overlook the bad, and at the end of the day, always find myself feeling two ways: Grateful for having been here, and eager to return! Much Love~
