This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
dead people or crazy people??? lol
What do you mean?
I expereance alot but please be more specific.
I asked my Pdoc about that the other day.Because I have seen and heaerd, and been involved in some phycic activities my whole life.
Mostly seeing spiritual entities ,and seeing the "true" faces of people...sort of a clear transposed overlay ,their "real" face overlay on to the world face they carry around. And for the most part, theses sightings have not been plesant...people don't HIDE nice faces...they HIDE evil or cruel faces.
Anyway ,I questianed him,on if I could be schizo affective.(because ,some of it seems to have faded away)
He gave me a definate NO.
He told me the meds ,certainly have a biological affect on my brain, which in turn affect any other "perceptive abilities"
Seeing and hearing things are part of a schizoaffective disorder. But that is not the main criteria.
Schizoaffective people are excentric and disordered in their commnivation abilities, they are disorganized with excentric behavioural and physical apperarances. They do not interact well ,in public environments(shy in school,or bullied as children).
Can't hold jobs, often speak to themselves, not being able to disern ,if a converstion is really happening,or if it's all in their heads.
My pdoc says in the phyciatric world there are people who most definately have experiences out side of the normal parameters of everyday life(He had a big long fancy phyiatric terminology for it...I forget what it was)These types of spritual experiences are "transsending experiences"
In other words, the person having them gains insights into the overall human condition ,seeing the univeriallity of all human experience.
They are transending enlightenments...
So ,I guess on how you experience or react to these experiences ,has a lot to do with your overall mental condition.
So ,if you have transending ,enlightening spiritual experiences...consider yor self lucky....gesh...at least one type of mental illness will bring us closer to God,or The Budda,or the Big Bang ...what ever you beieve in....I'm going for the transending and enlightening type......now I'll turn on the TV and watch FEARNET on TV..that aught to transend my fear!!!LOL!!
Yes It Is
No You're Not
dancingd - couldn't have put it better *high five*
Our senses tell us whether it's real for us.
That scares people.
I had real experiences and I had to accept them then move on.
