I posted this on the alcoholic community as well so apologies in advance to those of you who frequent both boards (I don't think there are too many). I'm having a little pity party (you're all invited). I had what I guess you'd call a nervous breakdown or a major depressive episode about 6 weeks ago or so. I stopped drinking and abusing xanax so my medication would work. Pdoc changed my anti-depressant because I couldn't go any higher on the one I was on because of intestinal issues. Anyhow, I took almost three weeks off work and am now taking leave without pay almost daily because I get tired and stressed so easy and because the daily AA meetings take yet another hour out of my day. Today I worked 8 hours (7 of it was an easy training class) and went to a nighttime AA meeting. I didn't get home until what is almost my usual bedtime. I'm staying up late on DH whining so I'll probably be worse tomorrow. I have a 45 minute drive to work every day and responsibility for the kids at night since DH works then so I don't have a lot of extra time for AA. I've been missing work so I can go and not get too tired. I just found out my next paycheck is going to be about $600 short. That's a pretty big chunk of change. I think we can still make Christmas and property tax but not if I keep missing work. After today I'm really depressed. If it weren't for training I might just have stayed home tomorrow. Anyhow, thanks for letting me get that off my chest.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
