Anyone recommend a sleeper ?
After last night I'm down about the sleeping pills.I'm on Ambien ( Zolpidem )...and they knock me out but not for long.
This is really bad and I need a pill to guarantee me a long DEEP sleep, devoid of dreams ( which I suffer from )
I may just be becoming immune to them after 10 years of medicated sleep.
I was dreading this.I am also on Lithium 600mg.
Thanks. Had one or two hours sleep.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I've just heard someone doing Massive Attack's 'Teardrop' as a cover on the radio.
It's shit.REALLY SHIT !!

I had ambien only long enough to get on the old regular sleep pattern.
I think excercise during the day. Forcing yourself to get out of the bed at a certain time and going through the motions of a normal day until it becomes a patterned schedule.
I know how awful I feel when I'm not sleeping well. I get physically sick after something like that.
Hoping you find the answer here or that you call your doc.
I don't want that comatose feeling in the day ahead.
Stilnoct ( Zolpidem, Ambien) were fine first but now they release me into dreams too quick.
However, if you want to go "natural" my son swears by Melatonin, which you can get at any pharmacy with the vitamins.
Are we just destined for an entire life of insomnia or what??? I have not slept 'natural' in so many years, I honestly can't even remember the last time I did.
