A friend here told me that her psychology teacher was talking about sleep deprivation used to snap you out of a depression. I had read literature about that years ago and had forgotton about it. It's used sometimes in hospitals to break a serious depression. Only problem is if your pretty prone to manic episodes it can induce one. I don't have much mania and this has worked for me before. Has anyone else heard of this or used it for treatment? I'm really interested to know.
