A friend here told me that her psychology teacher was talking about sleep deprivation used to snap you out of a depression. I had read literature about that years ago and had forgotton about it. It's used sometimes in hospitals to break a serious depression. Only problem is if your pretty prone to manic episodes it can induce one. I don't have much mania and this has worked for me before. Has anyone else heard of this or used it for treatment? I'm really interested to know.

I have my maxed amount of epidural shots of my cervical DDD....(and no one cares about my lumbar DDD)..... I've done physical therapy, muscle relaxers, Amitriptyline, Nortryptiline, desipramine.....narcotics... So I decided to go to a spine specialist and they have me on Gabapentin. Its been two weeks and it did nothing for my lumbar ever... but it did seem to help my cervical and arm/hand pain...
