I had a yard sale today in hopes of making some desperately needed money. I started around eleven o'clock, I'm guessing, and by about 4:20PM, I had made around fifty dollars. I knew this was MUCH better than nothing, but I also knew I had the rest of this month to go through and would need gas for my car, and to pick up a couple of medications I haven't had filled yet. Before the yard sale, I had about ten dollars on me.
Anyway, at around 4:20, around the time I had decided to pack up and leave, I told my little brother we would give it twenty more minutes because I was really hoping to sell a couple of the higher priced items I had there for sale. So we waited a bit. Then, all of the sudden, this guy pulls off the road, rolls his window down, and says, "Mam, could you come here?" Wondering what on earth he wanted, I approached him and saw that he had his wallet opened. I wondered what the deal was...if he wanted to buy something, or what. So the guy looks at me and says, "As I drove by a minute ago, I feel like the Lord told me to give this to you,"...he pulled out fifty bucks! I was in complete shock! I finally was able to look at him and tell him he didn't need to do that, but he insisted the Lord told him to give it to me. Well, I felt I couldn't argue that, so I thanked him and he went on his way. I have NO clue who he was.
NO I didn't use that money to buy whiskey lol. But that freaked me out totally! This is not a thread to get an argument started on religion, so please, PLEASE don't turn it into one. I just felt I should share what happened.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...

And bless the man who obeyed that feeling that God told him to turn around!
Then mom gave me ten bucks for the internet she sometimes uses. It's my internet...in my name, but sometimes she connects on her computer to check her email. That's wrong, I know.
Anyway, yeah...I was pretty desperate for money. I ended up selling most all of my clothes, but I might have priced them too cheap. One older lady stopped by and told me I was giving things away lol. But again, I needed money, and if you drop the prices, people are more likely to buy.
But yeah, I'm TOTALLY THANKFUL! I was beginning to get pretty depressed about my financial situation. I'm still not in the best of spot, but thanks to what happened today, I'm doing MUCH better! It's definitely something that doesn't happen every day.
Is there a way you can give him a thank you note or something to show him your appreciation?
