Well of all the feelings that come with being bipolar, for me I think the hardest ones to cope with are the feelings of shame and ebrrassment from all of the stupid things I've done in the past.
I've run into traffic infront of all of my friends and family, I've stalked girls and made them super uncomfortable, I've grabbed my father by the throat, I've been drunk as a skunk infront of tons of people, these are just a few of the countless memories that still haunt me to this day. And tonight they seem to be resurfacing with full force.
Please, someone tell me I'm not a worthless piece of crap. I'm so sorry for the fucked up things I've done. I wish I could go back in time and make everything right. I wish everyone who I've wronged knew just how guilty I feel. Maybe they could find it within themselves to forgive me.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Apologize where you can, and give the rest to God.
I heard a minister say, once that when we keep bringing the sins of the past up to god to ask forgiveness over and over..He's like "What are you talking about?" the bible says that He forgives our sins and remembers them no more.
now if only our memories were like that....
YOU ARE NOT A WORTHLESS PIECE OF CRAP!!!!
That was not really 'you' ya know...so let you off the hook. You would do that for your best friend..do it for you too
((hug))
Who you Are, is telling you to feel guilty because YOU are not a person who would do those things normally, if not for illness and situation.
Therefore - YOU are not a "worthless piece of crap"!
My parents taught me from childhood to separate what i DID, from who I WAS. They would say things like, "I didn't like what you did" - NOT "I don't like YOU BeCause you did" - get it?
YOU are in control of Today, Calus - none of us can change the Worthless Crap we DID before, but we can go forward from today and not do it anymore! (anymore than we can help, LOL)
Separate it, Calus - You are You, defined by your BEING, not by your ACTIONS. Actions can change, but your Being - stays the same.
*Hugs*
You served your country and that is something in which to take pride. You are a compassionate, caring, understanding, and intelligent person. Stop beating yourself up over things in the past. Deal with the present things. And, keep an eye on the future things. Know that you are a better person than you give yourself credit for being. Hang in there tough guy.
