I had a scary experience yesterday and was wondering if anyone ever had experienced something like this. I had somewhere to go, and I was watching the news, drank 2 cups of coffee, was smoking too may cigarettes, and was running around picking up my house. All of a sudden I went on sensory overload. The light and noise was chaotic and I closed all my shades and turned my tv off. I suddenly got nervous that I might attract a mouse or bugs because my kitchen needed to be cleaned and my floor needed to be mopped. I could see the light casting shadows on my shades and it was making me nervous (for what i don't know exactly). I had a general feeling of fear and I was scared, but it wasn't anything specific. I was scared it was going to get worse, started packing a bag for a possible hospital trip, and called my therapist. I was afraid to go outside for fear of total sensory overload. I needed cigarettes so i tested it and felt pretty uncomfortable in the crowded convience store. anyways, i calmed down with tv in the dark all day. has anyone experienced anything like this? I've never talked to anyone online befoew, so I'm quite new at this....

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
