I have never been in the hospital don't know what to expect but I know I need to get in there. I just want to wait until I send my kids off to school. I keep talking myself out of going but can feel an anxiety attack waithing to happen. What do I say when I get to the hospital? do I bring anything?

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. Now, what you do is call the crisis center near you. They will talk to you on the phone and give you info on what to bring. A lot of times they will send someone to take you if they think you should go.
Generaly you will need 3 pairs of cloths. (they have wash machines) Pick things that are comfortable and loose. (you may gain weight in there. you get lots of snacks) BRING YOUR RAZOR. They will keep it from you and watch you shave, but the disposable ones they have are CRAP. ID, contact information, a journal if you use one.
My recent stay i was in the super max type for a bit. Wich let you have nothing. Later i was on the more relaxed one, which let you have laces, but no belts.
And answere all questions truthfully, i cant stress that enough. Even if you think it is dumb or stupid, the more truthfull you are, the better results you see.
