Lately I've been thinking a lot about what is me, essentially, and what is BP. It's not easy to untangle. That outsider feeling I've had since I was a child, even when I'm social, is that essentially me -- or the BP? Is my entire way of looking at and being in the world part and parcel of this illness? Does BP define our experience? These are questions I'm wrestling with -- I think I've wrestled with them even more since being on DS. What do you all think? How do you sort this question out for yourselves?
