Has anyone applied for or is recieving Disablility benefits for BP disorder?
My Dr. said she wants me to aplly at least for temorary benefits. I am hesitant but the reality is I can't work right now full time anyways, just feel to up and down, mostly down. Trying to go back and get a fifferent degree, but struggling with just taking 2 classes. Any input on process, length of time to recieve benefits, whatever.... Thanks

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I can't work like this either. Doc agrees. Says there is no reason I shouldn't get it. I am hoping for the best.
If you ever can't sleep just try reading about SSID at their web site:

Good Luck!
Hubby and I filled out paperwork. Hope we got it right.
it takes a while so apply now. i was told it was odd that i got it the first time i applied. so i guess i'm lucky.
but they start your benifits from the time you applied. so once you get them you get a pretty big check for the past few months.
if you go the disability rout, watch out for people who think it's not a real disability and it's all in your head.
This shoulld be the SSI

Good luck and God speed.
forgot to add the length of processing time in my case was 6 months. They denied me the first time and I immediately appealed.
