For those of you who are taking or have taken lithium, have you ever been told not to take NSAID's as long as you are on lithium? NSAID's include Aleve (naproxen) and Advil (ibuprofen). Supposedly, NSAID's intensify the effects of lithium, as well as any side effects you may be experiencing. Please let me know whether my fellow lithium users have ever heard anything about this. I have my maxed amount of epidural shots of my cervical DDD....(and no one cares about my lumbar DDD)..... I've done physical therapy, muscle relaxers, Amitriptyline, Nortryptiline, desipramine.....narcotics... So I decided to go to a spine specialist and they have me on Gabapentin. Its been two weeks and it did nothing for my lumbar ever... but it did seem to help my cervical and arm/hand pain...
