So, yesterday I got provigil from doc. I told her I didn't think the symptoms I was having were depression, when I am depressed, I don't care that nothing gets done...but I want to do things and I can't I just go to sleep...
So, I took it this morning, I have made at least 8 phone calls amd can't seem to leave DS.
Could it be inducing a manic or is this what "normies" do?

I have been here before, a long long time ago and now I am back.Forgive me for not just saying what I want to say, even under a triple dose of antidepressants it is still raw and seeping and I am hesitant at revealing it as at least under the bandages around my heart I don,t have to look at how raw and wounded. My child was cleaved from my heart by his own actions. my child of ten, turning eleven...

theatre and I are there already. I'm having a very berry tea with crackers, cheese and cherry tomatoes and she's having a joint with some beer and we're both on really comfy recliners on thick pile carpet. we need some help with the decor if anyone is around??
I take provigil to help keep me awake since i take so many meds to help me sleep. Plus it's a good boost. I dont think you're manic i think what's happening is normal for someone on Provigil. I get so much done on Provigil and when i don't take it i'm like a zombie. I depend a lot on provigil...which might be bad but ya know. Hope this helps.
I take Provigil for hypersomnia. I had to take multiple naps during the workday, so it was interferring with my work. But I am also on a mood stabilizer.
The first few days I took it, I had difficulty falling asleep.
For the first few weeks, I was hypomanic. Particularly two hours after I took it each morning; it takes that long to kick in. During those times, I felt highly social and had difficulty focusing. The effect faded after a few hours.
After a few weeks of taking Provigil, the hypomania tapered off. I've been on it for two years now, and the only effect I seem to have is not being tired during the workday.
