Readers Digest condensed version is that my son has a pdoc appointment tomorrow. This doctors appointment needs preapproval. The doctor moved so they said the approval was no longer valid since he moved. This is what I was told from the insurance company. However, the doctors office was not told this. What I want to know is that in your experience for referrals or preapprovals for insurance companies does the address matter if it is the same doctor you are seeing? I would think it would matter. What is your opinion?
