I'm having a hard time finding a good doctor under my insurance plan and can't afford a doctor out of pocket. Under my plan I have one doctor in my county and I've already seen him and he overdosed me with a million drugs and put me on an antidepressant which made me manic if I forgot to take my other meds, but if I took my other meds, I was a zombie. Anyways, the other doctors are about an hour and a half away and I can't get there. My community clinic can't get me in for 3 months. I explained this to my primary care doctor and even though they aren't comfortable with treating me, she decided to do it, because it's better than having me off of my meds like I have been since July. ANYWAYS, she told me I should call and ask for written permission to go out of network on my insurance and all I will have to pay is my co pay and be able to go to ANY doctor I want. I was just wondering if anyone else has done this and if it worked out good.

I can count 4 times this year when I Went out of my way to make sure a "friend" felt good on their birthday, especially if they got left hanging. Its early in the...
cares about you which is good. Is is of course
best to have a Psychiatrist treating you but
for now at least you have a Doctor who can keep
you on what meds you need. I've heard of going
out of network to get another Doctor but I've
never had to try it. May be some of the others
can advise you about this?
