Has anyone else sought refuge in online gaming? I find that giving my brain something to focus on helps with racing thoughts. Also helps when I feel like I want to get away for a few hours. I play a strategy/first person shooter called Battlefield 2142. My wife plays Guild Wars wich is a fantasy role playing game. My friend Sasha, Left her live-in boyfriend of two years because he was addicted to Worlds of Warcraft. Its similar to Guild Wars in nature. Susan knows people who take vacation time from work so they can play the game for several days straight! Someone in Susan's Guild was divorced by their spouse because they played all day. I guess they become addictive in the way that people would rather live in their fantasy than in their reality. I dont know. I get bored with my game after about two hours. Anybody else with similar experiences with RPGs (Role playing games)?
