I am seeing a Nurse Practitioner for my Bipolar meds. I always thought she was good until recently when I went into a manic phase after my Lamictal was increased due to a minor depressive episode. When I went to see her, I was still hypomanic so she increased my Geodon. I thought Geodon was a anti-psychotic not a mood stabilizer as she said it was. She also said Lamictal is an anti-depressant; I thought it is a anti-convulsant (mood stabilizer). What would you do?

My husband dropped a bomb last week and told me he is transgender. Being pretty liberal, I accepted it and went clothes shopping with him. He was very happy and I was glad he could finally find true happiness. Now my problem is how do I relate to him as a husband while seeing a woman sitting next to me. I can't find anything on the internet about relationships with transgenders. Or what to expect...
