I am attending my DBSA Support Group Weekly.
I am attending my Therapist sessions weekly.
I am attending my Pdoc sessions monthly.
I am taking my meds religiously.
I am working out three times per week.
Now....my therapist is suggesting that I try something OUTSIDE THE BOX to help me heal.
Massage? Acupunture? Yoga?
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
And lots of BP's swear by Yoga!
i might try some yoga, and some meditation...along with trying to increase my excersising...
anyone ever try accupunture?
Or an art class - silversmithing, painting etc etc :}}
I say go for it!
i tried the guitar a few years ago and almost smashed it over the instructors head after a few sessions in the 3 foot x 5 foot box that they call a guitar lesson box.
I think accupunture and a cycling class might be what I will try next...
Followed by a man-facial and a massage at some point
reflexology = ?????
(can you give me a quick rundown?)
