I am new to this site and still learning the ropes. My mom has bipolar and in the past week has been in a behavioral center receiving treatment. So far now break through's have occurred and they have her on new medication (Seroquel). Hope to chat with you all soon and am anxious to learn from your experience, wisdom, etc.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Good luck and take care of yourself!

The Depression Sourcebook
it was written by:

This goes for anybody in all honesty
you can get it for a penny on amazon,
it has all sorts of advice on vitamins, foods, dealing with things
it is a bit old but it has become one of my favorite books about mood disorders, i think everybody should have a copy of it :)
The "For Dummies" Books are well written, and there's one for depression and bipolar...and you should be able to find that one at the library, too.
