Ok so i recently found out that i have adhd and that i'm bipolar. i'm supposed to start meds for the bipolar bit next week but i have no clue where to start. my doc gave me some options and i know next to nothing about any of them and everything i read about them just makes me cry... ya. i wouldn't do well with the hair loss thing. but ya.. my options are:
-epival
-olanzapine
-seroquel
-risperdone
i was just wondering if anyone has tried any of these. i was also wondering what kind of weight people tend to gain on each one... cuz well i refuse to take anything that's going to make me balloon up but it would probably benefit me if it did make me gain some weight.
so ya. any advice would be appreciated :)

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
The only one of those I've tried is Seroquel. And I love it.
No weigfht gain, and minimal side affects for me. But I'm sure other people will have different stories.
It's just a case of finding what works for you.
I've never been prescribed what you're being offered, but I understand your fear.
That being said, I have heard more positive things than negative about Seroquel.
