I have no desire to hurt myself. I am having somewhat of a panic attack that's all. I'm sorry.

don't be sorry. i have experienced panic attacks also (just had one yesterday). it helps to focus on your breathing for a few minutes and then do something to clear your mind, even if it means zoning out in front of the tv for awhile. just breathe and you can even count when you breathe: count to 4 while breathing in, hold for 5 or 6, then let out for 7. i learned this technique while hospitalized and it really helps when i start to panic. it will help you focus on breathing and clear your head.

I have a tendency to hypeventilate and hold my breath. Bad habit I know. This how I coped with things growing up.

ok, well if the holding part makes it worse, you can just breathe in for 5, breathe out for 5. i added in the counts because those help me focus and not breathe too quickly, which i did before learning how to breathe when i panic. hope this helps... remember, the panic doesn't last forever, or very long. it won't kill you and you WILL get through it.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps.
