No expectations, I refused to get my hopes up high,
It was no more guys, no one to make me cry.
You offered to take me for a drive and I remember,
We stopped to sit and talk for a while.
You gave me such a warm and friendly smile,
I almost forgot about my peanut buster parfy (without the peanuts) that was melting to a pile.
I knew you were one of those shy, nice guys,
When I got lost in your deep yet gentle soft green eyes.
And now I begin to see,
You're far more than I thought you'd be.
Cause you given me friendship, respect and love,
I am convinced you were sent to me from God above.
You opened my eyes, you made me realize...

But (my now husband's name), an Angel is what I found inside of you!
