theatre and I are there already. I'm having a very berry tea with crackers, cheese and cherry tomatoes and she's having a joint with some beer and we're both on really comfy recliners on thick pile carpet. we need some help with the decor if anyone is around??

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Just remember that it's messed up brain chemicals, not her. With meds and therapy, she can survive.
Best wishes.
Just try to stay in touch? Try to let her know that you accept her just as she is, and wish you could take her pain away? Send a note? Flowers?
Since I don't know her I can only suggest things that would help me in bad times. Fortunately, my husband won't allow me to push him away, and I wouldn't want to. He is a Saint, and no one knows or understands or loves me the way he does.

Talking with other loved ones & bpers helps to understand. There's also a friends & family of bipolar community on here, it's new & there's not a lot of members yet but it can help to be in touch with others in the same situation & see that you're not alone.
Let her know you're there for her & that you care. Read all you can to gain some understanding.
My bp boyfriend tries to push me away when he's unwell but I point blank refuse to budge. It can be confusing when he tries to break up with me yet cries & tells me he loves me at the same time. It's just as confusing for him.
