Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
and yes to part 2 of your question, too. I totally avoid Pink Floyd. They can crash me in a new york minute.
You?
when i'm super depressed and i cannot get out of it, i just put on some cat power and some pinback and wallow in the mood.
so yeah, my vote says it does.
Nick Drake's music just hits me in the heart.A Gentle yet transient mood pleaser.
I still can't listen to radio.
Seems that the more soul I find in this ilness...the less soul I hear on the radio.
We have free original Xmas songs written by myself "Frozen Tears" and my husband (he wrote the others)and I'm doing vocals on Frozen Tears, and back ups on the other Xmas songs. Parts of my husbands new album is on the music page. We haven't pressed it yet, due to money and moving, so he put it on the internet for free downloads. You can download some of his tunes if you want to.
they say that music soothes the savage beast.....keeps animals company in them barns and keep the birds away in the fields....it a good thing no matter what!!
I would be lost without it....
I try to listen to LOUD rock/metal/grunge to perk me up. But I gravitate to sad music unfortunately.
