When I went for my med review/2nd opinion with this BP specialist last week, he asked me what I did that helped when I was h/manic. I told him I sit at my laptop, headphones on, playing music full blast. He says as h/mania is caused by over firing by neurons in the brain, that this is really beneficial - focusing on the music makes the neurons fire less and actually calms the brain down. Just thought it was kinda interesting x
