I am listening to the trial of Afeed Azul Haq on CNN live. He is the gunman who entered the Jewish Federation offices in Seattle and killed one and injured five in 2006. He contends that due to his bipolar disorder he was insane during the shooting. The question of the day is whether people who purchase a gun should have to submit to a pyschological examination. I think this implies that all people who have a mental illness, specifically bipolar disorder, are homicidal and violent. What do you think?
