Hey all,
Been awhile since I've been on. I wanted to know if theres any of you who get your counseling for free or medication for free. I live in Texas, and they have a place called MHMR. It might be called something different were you live. It's a state funded help center for people who cant afford to get help. I'm just wanted you all to know if your suffering with BP and can't afford Docs or meds, try to seek out some kinda of state funded help center.
They offer free counseling and medication as long as you stick with the treatment plan. If you make $35,000.00 or less;here, you get free help.
Some of you know how much BP meds can cost. When I lost my insurance and had to pay for my meds, was the day I quit taking them because I could not afford $550.00 for 1 botle of Zyprexa and 1 botle of Keppra.
I guess I'm writing this for awareness purposes. If you cant afford the meds, look around for some state funded help centers.
Mike
