i have been on and off different medications since i was 15.
i have started to notice a pattern. after around 6 - 12 months, its like the medication stops working, then i have climb up the dosages till i max them out then switch to something else.
i was diagnosed with bi-polar in may this year and since then have been on Seroquel 300mgs. to start off i did see a difference, but now its like they have stopped working along with Citralopam which i am also taking.
does this happen to anyone else?

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
when i was being mis-medicated and given antidepressants alone. then, the antidepressants stopped working because, of course, i'm bipolar.
i haven't had that with a mood stabilizer though.
i'm on seroquel; i don't know; do people develop a tolerance for seroquel?
Seroquel is the only anti-psychotic I have tried. The anti depressants I have been on stopped working after a time and it has happened with the Seroquel.
going so far as to track moods = can't stay focused long enough.
