Soooo, over a year ago my son (who is now 7) was diagnosed bp. 2 years ago he was diagnosed adhd. he is on adderall and risperdal, i am haveing a VERY hard time getting him to make "wise decisions" i gotta tell him every move to make and in school its the same for his teacher. Does anyone have any advice on helping me & him make good choices and getting him to do things he knows he should do? thanks soooo much!!

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
He is 12yrs old 6ft 170lbs...he does whatever he wants!!!
It is by repeating this stuff over and over again, that some of it would sink in.
Unfortunately in ADHD and BP, decision making is going to be a big struggle. I'd save my big fights for the life threatinging stuff and let go of the small stuff so his self confidence isn't eroded.
