I need someone's opinion on this, I just started taking Lithium about 2 weeks ago and about 1 week ago, I have constant pain in both of my arms and down to my hands, do I need to go to the hospital??? Or is this from something else?? I havent done any hard labor, cause i dont work. Please help!!!

Did that he's supposed to call me back, but I just wanted to know if I should go to the ER or wait for him to call???

Cause I have a heart condition and my mom thinks that might be what its from.

Csn you call his service and just let him know that you will be at the hospital? He can meet you there.

While your wait for the doc, drink LOTS of water. I found I had trouble with the lithium if I didn't drink a lot of fluids. Everyone is different, though. I had to stop lithium because I lost a lot of hair. If you doc doesn't get back to you very soon, I'd check into the ER just to be safe.

Good advice. I think limb pains is one of the things on the list of possible side effects. BUT check with the pdoc

i took lithium and knocked out my thyroid. call your doctor immediately. this is also coming from a nurse.

Anyone else having problems logging in?Started about a week ago, in Firefox when I hit the orange login button it just hangs and 2-3 minutes later I get a message "error in form" or something. However if you reload the page you are then logged in.
