I know it can give us side effects at first.
But is there anyone else that can help me in saying that Lithium is ACE??? I have met many in England that agree.
I hear criticism here about Lithium. It's obviously personal. So is my tribute.
I owe my life to this hard bastard of a drug.It reminds me of my eldest brother.Tough but Caring.
It truly saved me.Yeah, along with the other stuff.
I just tire of the detractors.
Lithium is ace.Wonderful....please ?

i made this account because i hope this reaches someone who can understand. I feel immense shame and guilt over my past behavior while manic. I have ruined relationships with friends and family members, gotten tattoos that i dont want, done things that make me cringe. The weight of the self hatred gets to be too much sometimes. I feel like a burden. Nobody understands. I hate myself today.

Who's ti say that the time on Lithium has aided evolution of our minds in other ways.In illness, we educate ourselves. That's a must.
Otherwise it's fear that wins.
I am coming off but in a structured and measured way.
Not because of stigma or because I can't cope with some side effect.
Best of Bollocks to ya.Beeper.
Actually I like my lithium, these are the only two untranslated English words I know.
But yeah, Lithium is a good drug for our illness...an absolute miracle for many.
