I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. I think the lapband is the safest of the surgeries for weight loss. You have to chew your food 100 times before swollowing, and (I've heard, not direct fact) if you eat too much to fast you have to throw it up (seriously), beacuase your stomach will push the food into your esophogus.

The members on this site will give you detailed information about banding.
