JUST WANTED TO SHARE WITH YOU GUYS FROM THIS CLASS I'M TAKING CALLED PEER SUPPORT TRAINING. THE TEACHER HAS TOLD US THAT WE ARE NOT USE YOUR LABELS SUCH AS I'M BI-POLAR, AND BORDERLINE PERSONALITY DISORDER.. WE SUFFFER FROM THESE ILLNESS BUT THEY DO NOT DEFINE WHO WE ARE AS I.. IT WAS VERY FREEING TO REALIZE THAT I'M NOT BI-POLAR BUT I'M AND INDIVUAL WITH BI-POLAR..IT REALLY CHANGED THE WAY I SEE ME SELF AND KNOW I'M GETTING TO THE POINT THAT I'M ALMOST OFFENDED IF SOMEBODY SAYS THAT I'M BI-POLAR NO I'M NOT BI-BIPOLAR, I'M JOYCE WOODARD WHO SUFFERS FROM BI-POLAR, ITS JUST LIKE IF WE SUFFERED FROM DIABETES..ITS ABOUT TIME WE CHANGED THE WAY WE LIKE AT OURSELVES AND THEN MAYBE OTHERS AROUND US WILL CHANGE THE WAY THEY SEE US ALSO..GOOD LUCK AT CHANGING THE WAY YOU LOOK AT YOURSELF..ANY REPLIES WELCOMED, I WILL NOT BE OFFENED IF YOU DISAGREE..

Today, it's been a year since Rubes' death. I'm not doing so well. I miss her all the time and I've fallen into bad habits that I know she'd nag me for. I have to do better, sometimes it's just really hard. I miss her humour and encouragement. Saying a prayer that she's at peace.
