I'm having a disagreement with my ex and thought I'd poll the peanut gallery. I know I am old fashioned, but when I grew up, boys and girls did not go out on dates together until they were 16. Moreover, seniors did not date freshman. Well, my ex announced to me yesterday that my freshman daughter wants to date a senior from her school. Mom is in the midst of a mid-life crisis and says yes to everything to please the kid. I said absolutely not.... not that anyone listened anyway. Am I way out to lunch here? Thoughts? At what age is dating appropriate?
