I am set to take half of a 0.5 mg tablet of Klonopin making my dosage 0.25 every 8 hours. Today i was set to go on a shopping trip and i feared my anxiety would get the best of me, so i took a whole one. 8 hours later i took another whole one. I haven't felt this good about life in weeks, and the dosage seems to be where i need to be with this medication. I actually feel like getting up and doing things instead of being so anxious i stay in bed. Is it bad that i upped my own dosage even though i was taking a child's dose before? And should i tell my doctor about it? It just seemed so big of a help and this is the first good day i've had in a long time, and i have completed a year in pharmacy school so i knew about how dosing works. I'm just conflicted here and would like your opinions.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
But I still would call and clear it with your Pdoc......glad you are feeling better!
I would call the doctor in the morning and make sure there is not a downside to the current dose level.
