I am so irate today. I have been biting everyones head off in computer land and at home. I am full of anger and am peeved by everything and everyone. I have been this way for days.
I have read this is part of bipolar disorder but am having a hard time understanding this state of mind.
How is irritability similar to being manic?
Can someone explain it to me so I can relate it to my life?

My husband dropped a bomb last week and told me he is transgender. Being pretty liberal, I accepted it and went clothes shopping with him. He was very happy and I was glad he could finally find true happiness. Now my problem is how do I relate to him as a husband while seeing a woman sitting next to me. I can't find anything on the internet about relationships with transgenders. Or what to expect...

I have pretty much given up on this site. Hardly anyone posts or answers anything and the one person who does is just trying to sell herbal supplments to us.JHS
If you are in a manic phase you can also become grandiose, where your thoughts and opinions are suddenly superior to others
I'm not manic right now, but often irritable because of my anxiety. Anxiety can be another battle that many BPs face, and it also turns into irritability.
Hope this helped a little.....

I am sure you could find a few people to give you a verbal go around if not tell you to piss off.
Good luck.
