Anyone experience Invega? My pdoc took me off Abilify and put me on 3 mg of this new med and I'm kinda scared of it.

My therapist mentioned it to me once or twice. I'll find out Wednesday what other antipsychotic I'll be taking.

I recently just got put on this, switched from abilify as well. I found that its generally used for schizophrenia... and bipolar disorder...I havent really heard much else about it...so if you or anyone else know anything about it plz share

i wish my doc would put me on a new med she feels like once it's set (the meds) it's written in stone but i tell her sometimes people body changes and sometimes u need to change the meds i am happy 4 u and hope it works out GOOD LUCK

i use to take abilify but it killed my tummy so i got off it quick i feel like i gotta tell my doc about the new meds to try it to see if it works i wanna go back to klonopin but am so afraid of asking her i feel the zanax does not last long enough in my system i am taking .5 and i take twice a day

I took the Invega for a week and it threw me into a manic rage. I didnt sleep for 5 days, and I was mean as hell to everyone around me especially my family. I went back on Abilify but at a smaller dosage and I am doing much better now.

my doctor took me off abilify and put me on invega 3 months ago..so far i like it..i'm taking 6mg of it..i haven't experienced any side affects with it or anything no weight gain either yipee..abilify made me gain some weight..hope you do well on it..love terri

First, Id like to thank everyone for being so welcoming, kind and helpful. I start Lamotrigine tomorrow and after reading some side effects in a post I'm (more) nervous. I was wondering other experiences people have had with this medication, the good and the bad.Any feedback would be appreciated!
