Does anyone ever skip out on sleep to induce mania. I have BPII, which means I live mostly in depression land. Mania, or hypomania, is the only time I feel really good. I've noticed that lack of sleep can make me punchy and give me more energy. I'm considering staying up all night to try to jumpstart myself into a hypomanic episode. I don't know if such a thing is possible or even wise, though.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
i loved it so much i let it run its course to the point where it turned dysphoric and then my life sucked for the rest of the year.
maybe after some more rest i will want to induce it again...
